Now she has a family and she inspires females like my mom and me.

Writing 2
EliminarIn 2175 I am going to be 176 years old, probably I have achieved all my goals and open said I can achieve it.
My first university career was journalism, then I studied psychology, then translation and finally administration. I could also study several languages such as English, Portuguese, French, Quechua and Japanese. This was the most difficult to learn because writing is complicated. I only teach children to speak Japanese and English.

ResponderEliminarGood afternoon everyone, it is my Writing #1 which is about Marie Curie.
ResponderEliminarMARIE CURIE
Some days ago my English teacher was talking about genius such as Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking and others. Although they were well-known and intelligent, majority of them were men. For this reason I choose a successful woman who is considered the most famous scientist of her time. Her name is Marie Sklodowska Curie. This scientist had won the Nobel Prize twice in different sciences: Physics (1903) and Chemistry (1911) as well as being the first woman to win this award. One of her discoveries called X-ray saved a lot of lives during the World War I. How? Marie Curie developed movie radiography units to provide X-ray services and until now we can use it. She was married to Pierre Curie, who was French scientist. On the other hand, Marie suffered the rejection of the scientific community for being Polish later her husband died. In 1934 Marie Curie died of aplastic anemia from exposure to radiation.
I think that it's a nice writing but in the part : Marie suffered the rejection of the scientific community for being Polish later her husband died(use the word afterwards)to connect or relate.. In 1934 Marie Curie died of aplastic anemia from exposure to radiation.
EliminarThanks for your tips, Andrea. :)

ResponderEliminarThe entrance of a 9-year-old boy named Carlos Santamaria Diaz to the best National University of Mexico, who is considered a genius due to his cognitive ability at such an early age. Carlos at the age of three years proved to be an expert in reading comprehension and the sum of different knowledge skills something that Carlos’s parents could not ignore since he was able to read better than elementary students. Furthermore, the parents could not help but observe the high level of interaction between the child and adults, which showed Carlos not only understood texts but could also assimilate the point of view of different old people. Although Carlos was still a child and also projected a mature image, Carlos' parents should have allowed him to live a normal childhood like most children and not choose to satisfy their anxiety that Carlos can emerge as a genius in his country and his generation. Even so, Carlos was awarded diplomas in biochemistry and molecular biology as well as being the youngest student of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. So, as much as the child is very intelligent, it is not appropriate to remove a child's childhood, because even geniuses are not prepared psychologically and emotionally to grow up in a different reality compared to the infant mentality.

ResponderEliminarMozart is considered a prodigy because he was able to play the piano by age four and start composing by age six. Another reason that he is considered a genius is that he was able to create over six hundred compositions, including somne of the most famous and loved pieces of symphonic chamber, operatic and choral music. Also, he was able to compose entire symphonies in his head. Besides, Mozart had a kanck for churning out mnemorable melodies nonstop. Finally he's one of the top three most-perdormed composers of all the time.
Hi, you can correct the part that say " he was able to play the piano by age six" by using "the" "of"
EliminarHe was able to play the piano by the age of six
I'm sorry Milenha but you're not right since "at the age of " it's better than what you wrote

ResponderEliminarCarl Gauss (1777-1855) was a German mathematician, physicist and astronomer. He showed a prodigious capacity for mathematics from an early age. Before he was three years old he learned to read and do arithmetic mental calculations. When he was ten, his teacher asked the class to find the sum of all the numbers between one and one hundred thinking that the class might be occupied for some time, but he was amazed when Gauss immediately raised his hand and gave the correct answer. To do that he must have found the solution using algebra. He studied at the University of Gottingen, for his doctoral thesis he presented the fundamental algebra theorem. He made important methods and fundamental laws for probability theory. These contributions made him began to emerge as a mathematical genius. He just not only got expertise in mathematics, in the field of physics he investigated magnetism and a magnetic unit gets its name. Also in astronomy, he had got to assimilate the previous knowledge and then elaborated a new system for calculating the orbits of celestial bodies.

Hello everyone. I'm going to share my first writing about Bill Gates.
ResponderEliminarWilliam Henry Gates III is considered a genius since he showed a lot programming skills and he had a visionary approached that allowed him to found and set up the world’s largest software business called Microsoft. Gates passion for technology was predictable because at the age of 8, he built his first computer program. Besides that, it’s estimated that he reached a high score like 1590 in SAT exam. Another reason is that he entered to Harvard University. Nevertheless, he dropped out of Hardvard since he wanted to start his own company, so, at the age of 19, he founded Microsoft Corporation. In the process, Gates became one of the richest man in the world. To sum up, Gates were persistant and visionary; he risked everything because he loved what he did which allowed him to be a successful person.

He achieved success by doing what he loved and accepting challenges. Also, He could determinate if a crown is made fully of gold or not. That principle was called Archimedes' principle. It took him almost all his childhood because when he was a child, his father taught him a lot about science and mathematics.

This fact impacts too much, for his parents were a simple workers without any education. Another great talent that Gauss developed from a very early age was to learn a language in short time and on his own, such as german and latin. When he turned 20 years old, he published his first book called "theory of numbers". This book helped to understand many unknowns in the mathematical field; besides, it’s considered one the most important gauss' books.

ResponderEliminarAlbert Einstein was one of the most brilliant men of all time. He proposed the theory of relativity, which posits that space and time are closely interconnected, and began the development of modern physics. He was born in Germany on 4th March 1879, during childhood he was characterized by his perfectionism, and his passion for physics and that led him to become a symbol of intelligence. I think he was a genius for observational ability, being a very imaginative person, savant and like to keep learning. In 1921 Einstein received his only Nobel Prize for discovering the law of the photoelectric effect. In his works he must sought laws that allowed the understanding of the cosmos. Considered the most famous scientist of the last 100 years, who changed the perception of the universe and this theory have to contribute to the evolution of the natural sciences, mathematics, and physics.

You're right Alisson, the first sentence doesn't make sense and also the correct use of commas and connectors is not correct. To add, Karen when you use "youngest" you're not saying she's a young mother.
Eliminarit'll be better write (Carla is a young blind mother who has 3 children with the same disability)
Karen, there are many mistakes in your paragraph, but i'm going to correct 2 of them 😢
Eliminar1. Carla is a youngest mother is not correct, you're using a superlative, the right word is "young".
2.i'm not sure if you wanted to write "because of" or "despite of", but you should be careful these 2 words can be written together.
Karen, you're thinking in spanish and you are translating everything from spanish to english, you shouldn't work like this...it's not the right way to work :/
yes... you're right karina...karen is using a superlative form of the adjective "young"in a wrong way.

Hello, everyone. This is my second writting :D
ResponderEliminarStephen Hawking was a stronger man because his disability that he faced was not an obstacle to achieve his desire to become researcher of maths and physics. Hawking entered the University College of Oxford, where he graduated in 1962. At that time he was a normal life boy, whose singularities were only his brilliant intelligence and a great interest in science. But in 1963, in the course of an ice skating session, the young Stephen slipped and had difficulty getting up. Hawking contracted motor neurone disease and was given two years to live. Yet he went on to Cambridge to become a brilliant researcher. Professor Hawking received over a dozen honorary degrees and was awarded the CBE in 1982. Despite his physical disabilities and the progressive limitations imposed by the degenerative disease he suffered, Stephen Hawking is probably the best known physicist among the public since Einstein's time. Wrestler and winner, throughout his life he managed to overcome the impediments posed by the evil of Lou Gehrig, an amyotrophic lateral sclerosis that afflicted him since he was twenty years old. Hawking was, without a doubt, a particular case of vitality and resistance against the misfortune of destiny
Hello, everyone. This is my third writing about the genetic testing
ResponderEliminarThe genetic tests are almost like football, you hit the ball but you do not know where your opponent is going to place it at the end, eventually you run from one side to the other making good moves taking medicines.
Getting a Genetic Test can be really mysterious and frightening. Knowing that your one of your parents had a disease and may have passed it on to their child can be a life changing experience. It can speed up plans with what that person’s dreams, goals, or vacations. It can also put the couple if that person is married in a state of budget with their finances.
The feeling of knowing that there is a chromosome in your gene that you were born with causing a disease and there is nothing you can do about it to prevent the disease because it’s pretty much you has to be an unbelievably frustrating situation.
In my opinion, Genetic testing has potential benefits because these tests help people would have informed decisions about their health management.
"Wow"There are many interpretations and opinions about genetic tests, however,it is important to claify what benefits we could have if we really are well informed.
ResponderEliminarIn the first place ,genetic testing is the science that studies inheritance. This study helps us to detect future heredity diseases and tell us what we can do to improve if we have it.For instance ,there are a lot of diseases like cancer that are heredity. If we detect early,we could prevent either changing our lifestyle.
I know that there are very sentive people because don't react from the same way and this can inexpected and lend to risk, unhealthy decisions when they find out about the results, but,if we infor them correctly, i think things would change.
In short, the key is that to truly be able to make the best medical choices, and avoid risky and unhealthy decisions.

When we realize how dogs can use their advanced perceptual abilities to solve problems that no dog was born knowing how to do it, It makes us think if they are more than dumb animlas .
A good example of that is the case of Connie Standley, who has two huge dogs who can predict her seizures about thirty minutes before it happens. The controversy about this case is the fact that her dogs were trained to respond to seizures, not to predict them. It shows that dogs have true cognition.
Another great example of animal intelligence is the Clever Hans's case. Hans was the world famous german horse whose owner Wilhem Von Ostn, thought he could count.Eventually a psicologist named Pfungust made people to know that Hans wasn't really counting.Instead, Hans was unconscious imitating humans's movements. Finally,He solve the case by putting hans's questioners out of view and having them ask hans questions they didn't know the answers to themselves. It showed that hans could answer questions only when the person asking was in his view and already knew the answers.
What makes seizure alert dogs similar to Hans is the fact that both of them are showing signs of intelligence and extreme perceptions. No one has ever be able to train a animal to do what they did because they trained by themselves.
Hi everyone in ARW2 this is my Writing 1.
ResponderEliminarAccording to the article "Extreme perception and animal intelligence" of Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson, it is said that an animal can have an extreme perception and be able to solve many problems, but at the same time this is not considered a sign of intelligence since this perception is only considered as a perceptual ability, for instance, in the case of forensic dogs that use their senses (smell) to seek drugs at airports.
On the other hand, there is another case in which dogs can predict seizures before it happens and are called seizure alert dogs. Nevertheless, this prediction addresses many questions, which are if dogs are simply able to learn to predict seizures or if predicting seizures is common in them. Furthermore, it is said that before these dogs were called seizure response dogs since they were actually trained to help in case of seizures and not predict seizures. A clear example would be the case of a woman named Connie Standley who had two large dogs. These dogs could predict any attack with an 80 percent success rate. And according to Connie, her dogs can predict the attack 30 minutes in advance. Nonetheless, the controversy is that those dogs were never trained for that.
Another great example to detail in this topic is the case of Clever Hans, a German horse that according to its owner could count. Hans was able to count and solve other mathematical problems by tapping out the answers with his hoof. Later that was denied by the psychologist, Oskar Pfungst, who found out that Hans solved the problems watching the questioners’ movement.
The big question is how they could acquire those skills and if those skills are apparently signs of intelligence, since humans always attribute that animals have a kind of intelligence but they are not aware of that.
Hi,this is my writing.
ResponderEliminarIn the article Extreme perception and animal intelligence, authors Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson talk about two examples which show a sign of high intelligence in animals. The paper describes animals’ abilities that people cannot just discern and how animals learn. According to this article, many animals can help people by using their own abilities such as extreme perception and high cognition.
The first example is about Seizure alert dogs. These dogs can catch signs of a seizure in advance that are a great example of animals using their extreme perception to solve problems. Nobody knows how they carry it out, since this kind of signals are not so obvious for people. To add, an investigation found that most seizure alert dogs were trained to respond to seizures, not predict them because those are standards and traits that any dog can perform, so they did it for themselves.
The next example is about Clever Hans, a horse who was famous since his owner and the people thought that Hans could calculate and answer mathematical questions using his intelligence. Although a psychologist showed that Hans wasn't counting, and he discovered that Hans could answer the question only when people who ask was in plain view and already knew the answer, it was due to he was observing unconscious clues that humans were giving his without noticed it.
Psychologists concluded that It is clear that some animals are intelligent since those animals which exhibit more excellent capacities than other animals learned them for themselves and showed them although there was no need to do. In addition, they not only use their perception but also determine what to do.

ResponderEliminarGood evening everybody, this is my first writing.
ResponderEliminarIn Extreme perception and animal intelligence, authors Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson, they discussed to resolv the animal intelligence and animal instinct, and for this take the example of dogs, which can smell things that human can not do,and this dogs not make them smart ,the author believes that the true cognition,is defined as solving problems under novel condition, using his perceptual abilities.
On the other hand, they take the seizure alert dogs that have their own ability to predict a seizure, and people do not why this dogs help their owners..As when it was published in THE new YORK times a great article about a woman named Conie, who that two dogs that predicted thirty minutes before she had a seuzure, barking or pulling her hand like wanting to take him to a safe place. The authors think Connie's dogs were apparently trained as alert dogs before they come to her.
A further point is the seizure alert dogs reminds her Clever Hans ,a German horse in the early 1900s,whose owner had taught him how to count and Hans answering the question tapping with his hoof.Hans observed unconscious signals that humans had no idea that they were emiting.
in conclude, what makes hans similar to seizure alert dogs is that both dogs and Hans acquire their abilities without human help, and they show their high intelligence because they are able to recognize a sign and them choose to do somethingabout it.
I like your writing but check out the use of comas.
EliminarHi Carmen
Eliminarwhen you use who or which the use of commas is not necessary specially in your sentences.
Good morning! This is my writing.
ResponderEliminarAnimals that perceive information not visible to humans like dogs can smell one thing and be able to find it. To begin with the case of seizure alert dogs that receive training like bring the person their medicine or even give the phone, in other words they can help the person who has a seizure or predict the seizure attack early.
In Florida, Connie Standley has a two Flanders Bouvier dogs, who could predict her seizures about before it happens. Or another case in German, the early years 1990s, about a horse could answer mathematical questions according his owner Mr. Wilhelm von Osten, however the psychologist Oskar Pfungst showed that the horse could respond because the people gave him signals. This story helped for the psychologists to show that it was a deception that animals have intelligence.
To sum up for writers Temple Grandin and Catherine in their article 'Extreme perception and Animal intelligence' focuses on indicate that despite what they say, there is no accurate study that explains the behavior and decision by taken for animals in a situation.
Hi jairo, you should've used a comma after "to sum up" also after "what they say" you should've wrote "what they said" . ☺
EliminarHi Susan, thanks you for the comments.
EliminarHi guys :D THIS IS MY FRIST WRITING
ResponderEliminarThe reading emphasize that animal intelligence is as different as human intelligence is. There are many animals, which demostrate their intelligence by doing unusual things. This summary will show how intelligent animals are, neverthless many people think animals have just an arquired talents.
Dogs are incredible example of animal intelligence, there´re 2 amazing types of dogs, seizure alert dogs that are dogs which can predict a seizure before its starts, and seizure response dogs which are dogs that can help a person once a seizure starts. Moreover dogs are not the unique example, there´s one more animal called Clever Hans, which was a famous german horse that could answer mathematical questions. A psycologist said "He is not counting, he is just copying".
All in all, animals and humans can´t be treated in the same way bacuse they have different intelligence. The see things from a different way.Animals can do things we can't, and we can do things that animals can't, but we are both intelligent.
There are some grammar mistakes, for example in your conclusion i think It's they instead of the. I love this writing.

Good Morning classmate! This is my first writing.
ResponderEliminarAccording to the article Extreme Perception and Animal Intelligence written by Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson.Does animal show us their intelligence? this is still a controversy in our society but the majority of animal using their abilities as cognition skill perception and sense.
One example is the Dog. The respond dog are dog that have been trained to help people once their seizure have started and the sizure alert dog are dog who, they owner say, can predict a seizure before it starts is the case of Ms Stanley dogs that predict 30 minutes before it happened and saving her life.
Another example is Clever Hans a horse that could count with his hoof any mathematical question just recognizing unconcius cues and humans movements. In short what make differents and specials of the other is that they decided to do something about it by themself.

My house is such comfortable and pretty of love. I live in a house with more than 5 rooms, 2 kitchens, 4 restrooms and a swimming pool and it smells like roses since my house is surrounded with more than 20 kinds of flowers and a few of them are out of this planet, every now and then I water my garden.
I live together with my lovely pets. I've got to different pets from other planets. Most of them are immeasurably radioactives and if you forget to feed them, they can be insufferable but at the end everything turns out well.
I'm just into hanging out with my parents. Ever since I was 10 I fond of my family because they just worked on improving our economy and they allows showed up punctually on their works and now we can hang out all day long with my pets.
To sum everything up. My life wasn't fully difficult I succeed in every thing and could make my dreams come true.

ResponderEliminarHi, this is my first writing. I hope you like it.
ResponderEliminarIn Extreme Perception and Animal Intelligence, Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson say that humans can do things dogs can’t, but it doesn’t mean humans are smarter. There are some kinds of dogs which demonstrate advanced perceptual abilities. First, the seizure alert dogs are believed to predict seizure before it begins. Second, the seizure response dogs are trained to help their owners during the seizure.
Scientists said that 10 percent of seizure response dogs have become seizure alert dogs. An example of this is the case of Cannie Standley. Her dogs could predict her seizure because they barked at her, pull on her clothes, etc. Cannie Standley said they foretold almost 80 percent of her seizures.
Clever Hans was a horse which could count using his roof. Herr Von Osten could ask him some mathematical questions and Clever Hans could tap out the answers. However, a psychologist named Oskar Pfungst searched about this horse because He thinks animals are dumb. Then, He realized that Clever Hans wasn’t counting actually He was observing some movements that were the sings to start and stop tapping.
What makes these animals similar is that they learn to do incredible things without human help. For example, Clever Hans had an extreme perception and the seizure alert dogs can predict a seizure before it stars. In conclusion, they are showing signs of high intelligence so we don’t have to treat them like dumb animals.
Hello again, this is my second writing. I hope you enjoy it.
ResponderEliminarIt's awesome. Now I look vigorous as a Young person because scientits have discovered a way to make us immortal. I am as energetic as a rabbit. My life has changed into an endless way with immesurable happiness and sadness.
Having Numerous careers is law these days. I think that's horrible for lazy People like me. Now That we can Live longer, we should have fun every single Day. Another point i want to make is That the number of houses have increased so they are tiny.
An advantage of this is That as any of your relatives pass away, you won't be sad. Now, pets can talk to us so we are Having an incredible moment with them.
To sum up, the world have changed in a good and bad way, but now we will experience those changes because we are immortal.
Hello everyone!! :)
ResponderEliminarNy second writing is here, if you notice any mistake here, let me know 👌
Once again! My morning starts with that awkward noise of my alarm robot that I hate, but I need to wake up because a new day awaits for me.
As usual, my robot is bringing me the breakfast and I can perceive that delicious morning coffee smell that I really love the most. As soon as I get up from my bed, I can see my other robots that are cleaning the house which is levitating over the ground. While I was drinking my cup of coffee, suddenly some sad moments came to my mind, I started remembering how my life was in 2018 before the robots were invented. I’ve only gotten married one time in my life, so I’ve been living with the same husband for around 160 years. Our life in 2018 was like a common one, every day I woke up very early to prepare the breakfast for my husband, then when they left the house, I started to clean the house, do the laundry and many others, but I felt utterly alone inside of my house, because my husband was outside all the entire day, I couldn’t see him until moon appeared over the sky.
Nowadays, it seem everything has changed. Since Robots were invented, humans have a plenty time to spend with their relatives, because Robots can do everything. Some people are against Robots, because they think we’re like mannequins without any particular role in the society, but I don’t share the same thought like them. For me, Robots are so helpful, they have contributed in many aspects, and for example, Doctors are replaced by Robots now, they are so assertive, they can predict your illness in some seconds by scanning you with their laser that they have on their eyes. Before, it was really difficult to know what it was wrong with your body and Doctor used to evaluate you for a lot time until they developed what illness you had been suffering.
As I mentioned before, our way of living is easier now, because robots can do everything punctually and I feel our lives are not filled with pressure and hectic schedules like we had before, the constant feeling of loveless has disappeared, because now we have a lot of time to spend with our relatives and we can enjoy those beautiful and precious times that are priceless.
My 1st writing about Animal Intelligence is here as well ☺
ResponderEliminarFor “Extreme Perception and Animal Intelligence” text, Temple Grande talks about how some animals acquired a superior intelligence to perceive something that without human help. In the following text, the author explains this idea by giving some examples of animal intelligence.
Seizure alert dogs are considered as an extremely sensible dog, because they can recognize a seizure before it stars. Apparently, this kind of ability in dogs was learned by themselves and people even don’t understand how these animals can develop this skills. Humans have tried to train dogs how to perceive or recognize a seizure before it starts, but they failed at the end. However some response dogs, which means that they are trained to help humans when the seizure is happening, have become a seizure alert dogs. To give a better example, we have the case of Connie Standley who got two huge bouvier de flandres dogs and she never figured out that her dogs were seizure alert dogs, because her dogs were trained as response dogs before. Whenever a seizure is about to happen, her dogs prevent her by barking, pulling off her clothes or they even take her to a safe place, she said that they can prevent 80 % percent of the seizures.
The author also compares the story of Connie with the case of Clever Hans. Clever Hans is a horse that learned how to count by tapping out his foots. At the first this ability was really surprisingly, but it was found out how clever Hans intelligence works. You can ask him question that he already know, but when you ask something that he doesn’t know, he can’t tap out. Clever Hans learned this ability by himself and by watching human signs.
Seizure alert dogs and Clever Hans are similar because they learned something by themselves and they could perform these incredible abilities with their masters. The intelligence in some humans also works in the same way, because some of us have already a cognitive and perceptual skills that help us to achieve remarkable goals like Seizure Alert Dog and Clever Hans do.
Hi guys, this is my second writing.
ResponderEliminarHello everyone, this is me in the year 2175 and I am really excited since my life is awesome, living here on the planet Kepler-452b is utterly different from what I lived in 2040 to 2090 because before everything was very common like have pets, laptops. My habits have changed a lot, but I can state that even though my life has changed a lot; I live better and don't have too many concerns.
Firstly, I took the pill to become immortal when I was 20 years old. I got married five times I have 16 children, 50 grandchild and 25 great-grandchildren but of course I studied many careers such as education, tourism, economy, journalism, pastry and cooking, and I have worked in many factories and right now I have a lot of experience in each of them.
Furthermore, nowadays robots have replaced many professions such as housekeepers, baby-sitters, sick-nurses, hospital nurses, secretaries, waitresses, sellers, street-cleaners, taxi drivers. Apart from that, a positive aspect in 2175 is that we no longer worry about insufferable things like traffic, pollution and insecurity because the government has taken more interest and care in us.
On the other hand, robots have replaced many professions such as housekeepers, baby-sitters, sick-nurses, hospital nurses, secretaries, waitresses, sellers, street-cleaners, taxi drivers they do everything possible to make our lives more pleasant. In addition, everyone can afford to study in 2175, since here there is no more poverty as one of the causes of advanced technology and all people regardless of social class had the opportunity to be part of this new world. In addition, science has come a long way now there are cure for all diseases as HIV and cancer.
It seems to me that living in 2175 is better than my life in 2018 since I could achieve my goals and have enough time to correct my mistakes and I had the blessing to witness the wedding of all my children and see my grandchildren graduate and able to be to hold my great grandchildren which is the most important thing to me. To sum up, living so long it's awesome despite the fact that I had many bad times that affected me. I know there are more moments of happiness to remember.
Hi, This is Carlos Huaman Santos. Here is my draft for the first writing. Hope you like it!
ResponderEliminarFIRST DRAFT – Extreme Perception and Animal Intelligence
By Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson.
It is clear that some dogs are able to smell things a human being cannot, but that does not make them smarter one from another. When you look at the Jobs some dogs have invented for themselves using their advanced perceptual abilities, you figure out what true cognition is, which is solving a problem under brand new conditions.
There is a variety of cases in which animals can use their perception to do amazing things, we have the Seizure respond dog who can help a person to get hurt when about to getting a seizure and the Seizure respond dog who can predict some seizure attacks.
You can also find the case of the most famous horse in Germany called Clever Hans, back in the 1900s, he could answer mathematical questions posed to him by complete strangers. There is no doubt that nobody has ever taught him how to do that.
To conclude, what makes some animals intelligent is the fact that they did not have to do what they did and that is what intelligent is in humans, intelligence is people using their built-in knowledge and cognitive skills to attain remarkable and amazing goals.
Hi, Here is my draft for the second writing. Hope you get to like it!
ResponderEliminarDraft – MY LIFE IN 2175
¡Oh no! The teletransporter is not working properly and I need to make it to my work. Some many things have happened as of 2175. Now, I am a 124-year-old man who had to bring down barriers and attained many goals in life. I surely had big moments to be proud of.
On the personal side, I am a energetic adult who did not get a bald face. Plus with lots of grandchildren running along parks and also inside my house. I only fell in love one time, and I did not let go the person I loved because you do not have to go away someone you feel butterflies in your stomach for.
I also became inmeasurably wise because I have studied lots of careers. In fact, since I was a child I wanted to study plenty of careers such as Civil Engineering and Architecture. As an accountant now I can see life different and I would like to study some others disparate subjects as I get old.
It is still an awesome thought to think that we can live longer, knowing some many sicknesses a human being can come down with, even though the sun is ultimately singing its happy song with and incredible power. Yet, some things would look up for people, with lots of scientific devices which were an Utopia in the past years.

ResponderEliminarA long life
Living is to be born at every moment. Today is a favorable day to tell you about my life experience. I am 177 years old. I have been how the world has envolved over time. In my life I consider that there have been more positive aspects than negative that others long-lived people.
There have been inmeasurable positive things. With the passage of time. Technology has envolved. All people live in apartments and only work two hours every day. Also, the cars don't exist; for that, pollution has been almost eliminated. Besides, people are transported in huge bubbles that fly and take them to work or another place where want to go. Furthermore, each family has an awesome robot that does house chores. About my careers and jobs, I have had the opportunity of studying the careers that I wanted. I have been chef, civil engineering and psychologist. Also, I have had many jobs that helped me to improve myself. About marriage and family. I learned about the importance of the family. I have only married once in my life. My wife died twenty years ago. This changed my life radically.
However, there have been some negative things. Having this age means having diseases that involved, taking different medications punctually every day. Also, technology has evolved quickly that it become insufferable to be able to understand it.
To conclude, in my life there have been more positive than negative aspects. I never imagine Living 177 years, so this is part of having long life.

ResponderEliminarAlthough, animals have extreme capacities like being effective to smell better than a human or a machine, it does not make them more intelligence. However, what should make us think about animal intelligence is the fact that currently they use their abilities to face problems that they should not face because their nature does not demand them.
Here bellow, two remarkable examples that show the extreme perception ability they have: the seizure response dogs, which are animals trained to help people in an episode of seizure, are the first one. That kind of dogs are trained to act in and terminated way once a seizure has begun. However, no body is trained to predict a seizure, but someone of then can do. The owners of some of these dogs say the dogs can perceive signs of a seizure before it happens. The horse named Clever Hans is the second example, his owner, asked mathematical questions and he answered by taping out. In fact, it is obvious he could not solve mathematical questions because he was able to get a correct answer only when the questioner was in front of him, so one again it means that he could read humans behavior in order to give a correct answer.
These abilities were not the result of training, they acquired them by themselves. More than this they did not have to do because do not need to live survive. So, their behavior shows a real cognition because, like means, they used their special talent or ability to get impressive goals.

For example I have marriaged 3 times so my family structure is very large. I have 9 children, 14 grandchildren and I am having the chance to see my great grandchildren grow up.
The profesional aspect, today is more competitive, people have the oportunity to study other carreers and language. I, for example, acrieved my goals and accomplished dreams. I studied 3 carees and I am reinventing my self all the time.

Hi everyone this is my second writing of ARW2
ResponderEliminarAt last, the long-awaited day arrived in which I could finally meet the famous planet called Gliese that has been discovered about 50 years ago; moreover, this presents the latest technological advances of the year 2250.
One reason why I am so enthusiastic is the fact that Gliese has a tremendous similarity to the earth, which reminds me when I lived in it, for instance, when I felt the smell of hot coffee every sunday morning or on saturday when I usually hung out with my friends in the afternoon. Those times were great since I lived near to people I loved a lot; besides, the life was not as modern as it is now in the year 2250. Notwithstanding, nowadays the life is not so bad since the technology is so plentiful and helpful ; besides, there are robots that do household chores to machines that take you from one planet to another in just a few minutes.
On the other hand, robots are very common at this time, as well as many professionals who are temporarily replaced in their jobs by robots in order that they can enjoy or spend more time with their family. Another aspect to emphasize at this time is that you can also get married more than once like in my case that I have had more than six wives and got married for the seventh time 10 years ago.
Another reason is that Gliese is utterly a gorgeous planet where many events are carried out such as spectacular concerts, fairs of any subject and others. In addition to this, Gliese is also considered the planet that has the longest life expectancy since its environment is purer than in other planets.
In short, my life has not been so boring since I have lived many things between good and bad. However, despite that, I keep accumulating more experiences since part of life is to enjoy it.

ResponderEliminarEXTREME PERCEPTION AND ANIMAL INTELIGENCE
Many animals have extreme perception where they can perceive situations in which humans can`t see but that don’t make them Smart.
I believe that animals have a certain level of intelligence and their abilities that make them able to perceive things or sings that humans can`t see. Besides these skills can be trained and improved by exposing them to certain situations.
The fact that dogs can hear smell or feel things that humans can`t do. This makes humans look at the Jobs some dogs have invented for themselves using their advanced perceptual abilities, we`re moving into realm of true cognition, which is solving a problema under novel conditions.
Another case, where observe that dogs make use skills is when they alert the attack of epilepsy in their owners. Seizure alert dogs are dogs that are able to predict seizure before it starts.
In conclusión, Animals are intelligent, however their intuition skills are most outstanding. Futhermore, the autor thinks that dogs acquired their skills without human help.

Hi guys This is my first writing ( essay) :
ResponderEliminarHaving studied english at ICPNA and at high school for many years, I can say that studying in both were a good experience, although there are more differences than similarities.
Two of the differences between studying English at ICPNA and my high school are the teachers and their method of teaching. In general, teachers at ICPNA are good, they are well prepared, very enthusiastic and punctual. Moreover, they prepare their own material to complement their classes like a tv screen to show power points or videos to illustrate what they are talking about, so students can understand easily. In contrast, at my high school, teachers just gave us papers to complete and used the blackboard to write their examples and homework, but they taught us the basic and important things that helped me not to be lost when I started to study at ICPNA, and that so far I do not forget. Also at high school I had one teacher per year or more while at ICPNA there is a different teacher for every month. The class size is different too. Whereas my high school had about 40 students per class, ICPNA's classes have a maximum of 25 students and that fact affects the learning of students. Furthermore, my classmates at icpna are of different ages; therefore, there is a great diversity of points of view that help students to enhance their level of english in class. On the other hand, my classmates in my high school were practically the same age as me and we knew each other since we were children, but we did not practice speaking english as much as we do at ICPNA.
To conclude, once a teacher told me that I should value all the teachings they give me and learn as much as I can.
despite the differences and similarities, in both I learned more than a english course and I am very grateful for that.
Hello miss vargas and classmates.I'm alisson

The transition from elementary school to high school was a complete life change. The choices that have to be made in high school are more important that those in elementary school. Basically, we have more responsabilities likewise teachers expect you to participate activily in class and complete your assigments on time. Both, Elemantary school and high school have similarities and differences.
Take an example, when I attended elementary school,I was 6 years old.My school was small, there were about 200 students and we all know each other well.In contrast, At high school, The school was big , there were over 1500students and was hard for teachers to know every student by name. Attending elememtary schoola nd high school were so different. For instance, the amount of time we spend in each one.In elementary school my schedule was from 8:00am to 1pm while at high school was frok 8am -3:30pm.
Futhermore, I was quite happy witj all my subjects but what i hate yhe most was mathematics whereas asrt and english were my favorities. My art teacher ,Ms.Gutierrez was a great artist and owner of an art gallery. All her paintings were bought by very important peoole.I was so proud of being one of her stuents.Similarly, My English teacher,Ms Ramos was a good example of persistence and hard-work.she used to said that if you wanted to achieve successs you had to work harder..much harder than everyone else.

ResponderEliminarEXTREME PERCEPTION AND ANIMAL INTELLIGENCE
Authors Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson say that there are many animals with extraordinary abilities, one of them being forensic dogs, which in most cases, successfully detect contraband.
In addition, some dogs with their unique perceptual abilities unconsciously created jobs for themselves. One of them may be seizure alert dog who acquires the ability to perceive the seizures of their owners, not all dogs are capable of discovering it and those that do, are trained to be seizure response dogs, and they help their owners by lying down on top of them, giving them their medicine or cellphone.
Also, some of these response dogs became alert dogs because they managed to perceive the seizures ahead of time, which no human can do, a study says that only 10 percent of response dogs can do it.
The New York times published an article about a woman with two huge Bouvier de Flandres dogs who were obviously trained as alert dogs, because they predicted her seizures ahead of time and the dogs would do things like bark her, hold her to safety, etc. The woman says dogs predict most of her seizures.
In 1900 there was a German horse called Clever Hands, his owner thought he could count because he asked him math questions pointing the numbers with his hoof.
But a psychologist named Oskar Pfungst proved that the horse didn’t count, he just observed unconscious movements of his interrogators that only Hans could see, the psychologist couldn't see them either, but he did an experiment and found that Hans apparently could only answer if the interrogators were in sight and knew the answer, if not no.
Many psychologists use Hans' story to tell people who think that animals are intelligent, they are only deluding themselves. On the other hand, no human could train his horse like Hans, because Hans trained himself. The way to understand a different species is incredible and leaves many doubts.
What makes the two animals similar is that neither acquired their abilities with human help, they did it themselves. The best a trainer can do is to reward dogs that help humans when they have seizures and leave them after identifying the signs that predict seizures since teaching dogs from scratch is impossible, this method is’ot always successful, but some dogs they do. The authors believe that these dogs that can do it demonstrate superior intelligence, the same goes for humans. What makes both animals show great intelligence or talent is the fact that they didn’t have to do what they did. It’s one thing for a dog to begin to recognize the signs that a seizure is coming, but it’s another thing for a dog to begin to recognize the signs of an impending seizure and then decide to do something about it, that is what intelligence is in humans.

ResponderEliminarThe obstacles of Luz Tello
ResponderEliminarAlthough my aunt lived in misery as a child; she had to overcome many obstacles to be successful. My aunt is nicknamed “Luchi”, but her real name is Luz Lucinda Tello Mejia and for me she is a brave, extraordinary and intelligent woman. Living in poverty, she enjoyed reading books about human medicine in a library near his home. Sometimes there was not enough for a family of 15 people. My grandfather never abandoned his children, but it was as if he had. My grandmother worked to feed her 13 children. My grandfather never work in all his life. And he did not want his daughters to study at university. My uncle named Koki convinced my aunt to go to high school. Because at first she felt defeated and did not believe that she could be successful. She decided to work to buy everything she needed and go to high school. She felt ashamed of her parents, because they were from Cuzco. She was discriminated against a lot at school. At first he was interested in studying Human Medicine. However after years she realized that she preferred to study psychology. She had the ability to learn quickly. She was able to apply at the National University of San Marcos. Unfortunately at that time there were too many protests. There were times when she felt hopelessness but her mother was always supporting her. But it took her about twelve years to finish her career.
In summary, we are all capable of reaching our goals despite the obstacles, as well as my aunt who faced many obstacles to become the excellent psychologist that she is.
